The "After The Rain" album from Simon's previous project Groovecatcher reached number 1 in the Deutsche chill-out charts and the Top 10 of the iTunes Electronica charts in all territories worldwide. Phil and Simon's new GXR releases include their remix of Billboard charting artists Madison Park's single "One Day" and an exclusive track "Name In Lights" for the "New Sound Theory vol. 4" compilation on the BasicLUX label sponsored by Tiger Beer and Anheuser-Busch. In August 2007 GXR's haunting remix of the classic Billie Holiday track "Long Gone Blues" is released on Sony Legacy's compilation "Billie Holiday - Remixed and Reimagined". The track is already receiving massive DJ play, excellent reviews and is featured as a focus track by Sony. GXR's 2008 debut album through the AG Group will also feature some of the finest vocalists in the downtempo and dance genres... including Karina Ware (BT), DeAnna Cool (Madison Park), Manuela Van Geenhoven (Groovecatcher) and an inspired collaboration with the Ananda Project's Chris Brann and Solu Music's Kai Martin. |
